Family History Projects:
Oral History interview - audio file (2hrs minimum) This includes: initial meetings/discussion, research preparation, a 2hr interview and consultation, audio files - MP3 or Wave, saved to CD (optional cover design) and typed transcript. $2,875.00 (GST inc)
A story is written from an interview, ready for publication, up to 4,000 words. (Interview included) (Professional photos will be costed sepearately) $5,750.00 (GST inc)
Small booklet (up to 50 pages) based on a timeline of historical events, family tree, archival photos, and minimal narrative. $12,075.00 (GST inc)
Book self-published (up to 150 pages) from interview and family archives, archival photos, and historical narrative. $24,150.00 (GST inc)
Community, Business and Corporate History projects:

Small booklet (A5 size - and up to 50 pages)based on a timeline of historical events. (Minimal narrative.) Includes recorded interviews, transcript, timeline, archival research, photos, proofreading, editing, graphic design, self-published. Printing is costed separately.

Book published (Size to be determined) up to 250 pages. Includes all of the above plus in-depth research, archival research, photos, graphics, a foreword, chapters, an epilogue, referencing, endnotes, appendices, bibliography, photo captions, and a descriptive blurb. Professional editing and proofreading. Graphic design. Option to self-publish or to consult with a professional publisher. Cost of printing separate. $63,020.00 (GST inc)
Note: This is a starting fee. The contract between Tapestries and the client would have the right to review costs depending on the project's scope, including the number of interviews.
